【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareagenerallyreliablemeansofidentifyingthegenerictypesoffiberspresentinasampleoftextilematerialofunknowncomposition.Themethodsaregenerallynotusefulfordistinguishingfibersofthesamegenericclassfromdifferentmanufacturersorfordistinguishingdifferentfibertypesofthesamegenericclassfromoneproducer.Manyfibersarechemicallymodifiedbytheirproducersinvariouswayssoastoaltertheirproperties.Itispossibleforsuchmodificationstointerfereseriouslywiththeanalysesusedinthesetestmethods.Considerableexperienceanddiligenceoftheanalystmaybenecessarytoresolvesatisfactorilythesedifficulties.Dyes,lubricants,anddelustrantsarenotpresentnormallyinamountslargeenoughtointerferewiththeanalyses.Thesetestmethodsarenotrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecauseofthequalitativenatureoftheresultsandbecauseofthelimitationspreviouslynoted.Note28212;Forstatementsonprecisionandbiasofthestandardquantitativetestmethodsfordeterminingphysicalpropertiesforconfirmationoffiberidentificationrefertothecitedtestmethod.Thepre1.1ThesetestmethodscovertheidentificationofthefollowingtextilefibersusedcommerciallyintheUnitedStates:Acetate(secondary)NylonAcrylicNytrilAnidexOlefinAramidPolycarbonateAsbestosPolyesterCottonRamieCuprammoniumrayonRayon(viscose)FlaxSaranFluorocarbonSilkGlassSpandexHempTriacetateJuteVinalLycocellVinyonModacrylicWoolNovoloid1.2Man-madefibersarelistedin1.1underthegenericnamesapprovedbytheFederalTradeCommissionandlistedinTerminologyD123,AnnexA1(exceptforfluorocarbonandpolycarbonate).Manyofthegenericclassesofman-madefibersareproducedbyseveralmanufacturersandsoldundervarioustrademarknamesasfollows(Note1):AcetateAcele,Aviscon,Celanese,Chromspun,EstronAcrylicAcrilan,Courtelle,Creslan,Dralon,Orlon,ZefranAnidexAnim/8A
