【摘要】:Thesuccessofawaterproofingapplicationdependson,amongotherthings,thetype,smoothness,andcleanlinessoftheconcretesurfacebeingcoated.Thisguidedescribesconditioningorrepairingoftheconcretesurfacebytheremovalorotherconstructivemodificationofthosesurfacedefectsthatcanaffecttheperformanceofthewaterproofingsystem.Italsocoverssurfacepreparationbychemicalandblastcleaningmethodsinordertoprovidegoodadhesionbetweenthewaterproofingsystemandtheconcreteaswellastheeffectandcontrolofvarioussurfacecontaminants.(SeealsoACI515.)Thisguideisnotintendedtoofferguidelinesfortheselectionofasuitablewaterproofingsystem;theuseofspecificapplicationtechniques;orthedesignandinstallationofflashing,terminations,expansionjointdetails,etc.(Fordefinitionsofterms,seeTerminologyD1079.)Therecommendedproceduresdescribedhereinareminimums;thewaterproofingmaterialsmanufacturermayrequiremorestrictorspecificproceduresforthepreparationofconcretesurfacesfortheapplicationofthemanufacturerrsquo;specificsystem.1.1Thisguideprovidesrecommendationsforthepreparationofconcretesurfacespriortotheapplicationofadhered(bonded)waterproofing.1.2Thisguideisdirectedprimarilytowardinstallationsofnewconcrete,butisalsoapplicableforexistingconcreteinstallations.(SeealsoACI116andACI546.)1.3Thisguidedoesnotapplytolooselaidsystems,bentonitesystems,lead,orthelike.1.4Thisguidedoesnotapplytoapplicationsinvolvinginsulatingconcrete.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
