【摘要】:Themeasureddimensionalstabilityofafabricdetermineswhetherafabrichasthepotentialtoretainitsoriginalshapeandremainstable,indicatingitwillnotbubbleorsagovertime,whenappliedoverasubstrate,anditssuitabilityforaspecifieduse.Thistestmethodisrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentshowever,cautionisadvisedsinceinformationaboutbetweenlaboratoryprecisionisincomplete.Comparativetestsasdirectedin5.2.1areadvisable.5.2.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Ataminimum,usethesamplesforsuchacomparativetestthatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtestingandrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratory.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,aprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thistestmethodisusedinindustrytodetermineifafabricgrows,growsandthenshrinks,shrinksandthengrows,orremainsthesamewhensubjectedtoaspecifiedrangeofhumidityandtemperatureconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedimensionalstabilityoffabricsthatareintendedforuseonpanelandscreensystemstocycledchangesinhumidityandtemperature.1.1.1Panelandscreensystemsincludeacousticpanels,freestandingscreens,officepartitions,andfurnituresystems.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareapproximateinch-poundunitequivalentsandareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
