【摘要】:Theproceduresdescribedcanbeusedinconjunctionwiththemanufacturerrsquo;specificrecommendationstoinstallpolyethylenepipeusingtheinsertionmethod.Theproceduresareintendedasanaidtoandnotinreplacementofthedesignandreviewoftheprojectengineer.1.1Thispracticedescribesdesignandselectionconsiderationsandinstallationproceduresfortheconstructionofnewsanitaryandstormsewersbytheinsertionofpolyethylenepipethroughexistingpipeandalongthepreviouslyexistinglineandgrade.Theproceduresaredesignedtominimizetrafficdisruption,surfacedamage,andrestoration,withlittleornointerruptionofservice.Note18212SeeCGSB41-GP-25M.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
