【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaninterchangeformattofacilitatethemovingoffilesorpartsoffilescontainingdatarecordsbetweencomputersystems.Theinterchangeformatisnotintendedasarecordformatfortheindigenousfilesofanyspecificsystembutmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thestandarddefinesageneralizedstructurewhichcanbeusedtotransmit,betweensystems,filesorrecordscontainingawidevarietyofdatatypesanddatastructures.Itspecifiesthemeansforthedescriptionofthecontentsofdatarecordsbutdoesnotspecifytheirapplicationsemanticsalthoughthesesemanticscanbeincludedasapartofthetransmission.Theinterchangeformatmayalsobeusedtotransportindividualrecords,individualdatafieldsorindividualsubfieldswiththeirdescription.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies:·media-independentfileanddatarecorddescriptionsforinformationinterchange;·thedescriptionofdataelements,vectors,arraysandhierarchiescontainingcharacterstrings,bitstringsandnumericforms;·adatadescriptivefilecomposedofadatadescriptiverecordandcompaniondatarecordsthatenableinterchangetooccurwithminimalspecificexternaldescription;·thedatadescriptiverecordthatdescribesthecharacteristicsofeachdatafieldwithinthecompaniondatarecords;·threelevelsofcomplexityoffileandrecordstructure;·FTAMunstructuredandstructureddocumenttypes
