【摘要】:ThispartofEN60079-29specifiesperformancerequirementsofequipmentforthedetectionandmeasuringofflammablegasesorvapoursinambientairbymeasuringthespectralabsorptionbythegasesorvapoursoverextendedopticalpaths,rangingtypicallyfromonemetretoafewkilometres.SuchequipmentmeasurestheintegralconcentrationoftheabsorbinggasovertheopticalpathinunitssuchasLFLmetreforflammablegases.NOTE1Actualvaluesofconcentrationcanbededucedonlywhereitcanbeestablishedthattheconcentrationisuniformovertheopticalpath,forexampleinveryshortopticalpaths(<100mm).Insuchcases,theequipmentiswithinthescopeofEN60079-29-1.NOTE2Thisstandardisbaseduponpresentabsorptiontechniquesusinginfraredradiation.Othertechniquesandapplicationsmayrequireadditionaltestconsiderations(e.g.pressuretest).Equipmentfallingwithinthescopeofthisstandardisclassifiedbythefollowingtypes:Type1:anopticaltransmitterandreceiver,locatedateitherendofapaththroughtheatmospheretobemonitored.Type2:anopticaltransceiver(i.e.combinedtransmitterandreceiver)andasuitablereflector,whichmaybeatopographicfeatureoraretroreflector,locatedateitherendofapaththroughtheatmospheretobemonitored.Thisstandardisalsoapplicablewhenanequipmentmanufacturermakesanyclaimsregardinganyspecialfeaturesofconstructionorsuperiorperformancethatexceedtheminimumrequirementsofthisstandard.Allsuchclaimsshallbeverifiedandthetestproceduresshouldbeextendedorsupplemented,wherenecessary,toverifytheclaimedperformance.Theadditionaltestsshallbeagreedbetweenthemanufacturerandthetestlaboratoryandidentifiedanddescribedinthetestreport.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoanyoffollowing:a)equipmentintendedtoproviderangeresolutionofgasconcentration(e.g.Lightdirectionandranging(LIDAR));b)equipmentconsistingofapassiveopticalreceiverwithoutadedicatedopticalsource;c)equipmentintendedtomeasurethelocalvolumetricconcentrationofgas(pointsensors);d)equipmentintendedforthedetectionofdustsormistsinair;e)equipmentforcrossstackmonitoring;f)equipmentintendedforthedetectionofexplosives;andg)equipmentintendedonlyfortheidentificationofindividualgasorvapourcomponents,(e.g.Fouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FTIR)).Thisstandardisapplicabletoequipmentwhichisintendedforuseinhazardousornonhazardousareas,orboth.Equipmentforuseinhazardousareasisalsorequiredtohaveexplosionprotection(see4.1.1).Thisstandardappliestoportable,transportableandfixedequipmentintendedforcommercialandindustrialapplications.
