【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesstandardizedrequirementsforpreparationofmaterials,mixingconcrete,andmakingandcuringconcretetestspecimensunderlaboratoryconditions.Ifspecimenpreparationiscontrolledasstipulatedherein,thespecimensmaybeusedtodevelopinformationforthefollowingpurposes:3.2.1Mixtureproportioningforprojectconcrete,3.2.2Evaluationofdifferentmixturesandmaterials,3.2.3Correlationwithnondestructivetests,and3.2.4Providingspecimensforresearchpurposes.Note18212;Theconcretetestresultsforconcretespecimensmadeandcuredusingthispracticearewidelyused.Theymaybethebasisforacceptancetestingforprojectconcrete,researchevaluations,andotherstudies.Carefulandknowledgeablehandlingofmaterials,mixingconcrete,moldingtestspecimens,andcuringtestspecimensisnecessary.Manylaboratoriesperformingthisimportantworkareindependentlyinspectedoraccredited.PracticeC1077identifiesanddefinesduties,responsibilities,includingminimumresponsibilitiesofthelaboratorypersonnelandminimumtechnicalrequirementsforlaboratoryequipmentused.ManylaboratoriesensurequalifiedtechniciansbyparticipatinginnationalcertificationprogramssuchastheAmericanConcreteInstituteLaboratoryTechnicianProgramoranequivalentprogram.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresformakingandcuringtestspecimensofconcreteinthelaboratoryunderaccuratecontrolofmaterialsandtestconditionsusingconcretethatcanbeconsolidatedbyroddingorvibrationasdescribedherein.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.TheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyofeachother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformance.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warning-Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoexposedskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
