【摘要】:Thereferencemethoddescribedisapplicabletoproductshavingtotalmercurycontentsintherangeofabout0.01%(m/m)to0.5%(m/m).Mayalsobeextendedtoproductswithatotalcontentofmorethan0.5%(m/m).Theprincipleofthemethodconsistsinthecombustionofthetestportionwithoxygeninanenclosedsystem.Reductionofthemercury(II)compoundscontainedintheresultingsolutiontoelementarymercury.Entrainmentofthemetalinagasstreamatambienttemperatureanddeterminationasthemonoatomicvapourbycoldvapouratomicabsorptionspectrometryatawavelengthintheregionof253.7nm.
